1st Convocation In 15 Years (College of Agriculture Lafia)

It was jubilation galore at the College of Agriculture, Lafia as 8,838 students, after waiting a long time for their convocation ceremony which would mark the end of their academic programme at the college, finally witnessed the event.

The convocation was one of the first steps taken by the governing council, inaugurated in 2013 to address the several challenges confronting the institution as they promised that the unfortunate relapse of academic activities for fifteen years must not repeat itself again in the institution.

The college has been suffering decline in curriculum and academic programmes as well as internal wrangling, which all led to the suspension of projects funded by the Tertiary Education Trust Fund in the school.

Some of the graduating students who shared their pains on the delayed convocation for fifteen years post-graduation revealed that they have been stagnant at work due to lack of original certificate but are happy now that the challenges are behind them.

Congratulations will be in order here for the graduates, thou it came after a very painful experience.
