DELSU 2015 PreDegree Admission List Has Been Released

This is to inform the general public and all pre-degree students of  Delta State University (DELSU), Abraka  that the admission list into various degree programmes for  2015/2016 has been released.
Steps To Check DELSU Pre-degree To Degree Admission List:
1. Candidates are to visit the delsu predegree official admission checker website via the link below;

2. Enter your PRE-DEGREE application number in the box provided,
3. Click on CHECK to know your admission to 100 level status.
Admitted candidates are all required to make an immediate payment of their fees in full including the non-refundable acceptance fee of Twenty Thousand Naira (N20,000.00) and tender the evidence at the point of screening in the various Faculties.
Candidates are advised to come along with the following items/documents for the Screening Exercise starting IMMEDIATELY and would last for one week.

a. Evidence of payment of Acceptance fees
b. Original Jamb Admission Letter
c. Original UTME Notification of Results (if already received)
d. SSCE/GCE/NECO, etc. Statement of Result (Original and five photocopies) computer printout of private candidates SSCE result duly Certified and stamped by the Principal (Original and five photocopies)
e. Letter of reference from a reputable Clergyman/Imam/Lawyer/Senior Civil Servants (Original and five photocopies)
f. Birth Certificate/Sworn Declaration of Age (Original and five photocopies)
g. School testimonial (Original and five photocopies)
h. Passport photographs with red background (12 copies)
i. All candidates who obtained their entry qualifications, i.e. WASC, GCE, NECO, etc, in or before 2010 must tender the original of their certificates
j. The use of affidavit in lieu of Statement of Result will not be accepted.
Please note that any candidate who fails to show up for the Screening Exercise within the stipulated period (ONE WEEK) would be deemed to have rejected the offer and therefore the offer would lapse.

• Obtain a registration card containing your application PIN Code : IMSU Microfinance Bank, Owerri, Imo State after making a payment of 6,500 to the cashier
• Visit http://IMSU/PreDegreeLogin.aspx and complete your registration
• Fill correctly all required information on the Application form. 
• Submit each application stage on completion before proceeding to the next stage.
• Verify and print your fully completed application form.

N/B:
Scratch cards from unauthorized vendors or previous transaction cannot be used to start this application process. Please purchase your card only from specified point of sale.

AAUA 2015/2016 Pre Degree Examination Date Released

The management of AAUA wishes to to inform the general public that  pre-degree programme 2015/2016 entrance exam schedule has been released. It was released alongside the application procedures for the programme. Applicants are hereby informed.

As part of criteria for admission into the Adekunle Ajasin University Pre degree programme for the 2015/2016 academic session, the management has announced the schedule of the entrance exam that is compulsory for all applicants.
Candidates are to register online on the University website between 4th May, 2015 and 3rd July, 2015.
Entrance Examination will be conducted as follow:
Dates: Wednesday, 22nd July, 2015 for Pre-degree Agricultural Science, Science and Science Education
Thursday, 23rd July, 2015 for Pre-degree Arts, Arts Education, Social Science and Social Science Education
Venue: University premises (Adekunle Ajasin University, Akungba Akoko)
Time:  10.00a.m. each day.

AAUA 2015/2016 Pre-Degree Form is Out

The management of AAUA wishes to inform the general public that the  Pre degree form for the 2015/2016 session is now on sale. Interested members of the public are hereby informed as applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates.
Below are the details of the PRE-DEGREE PROGRAMME of Adekunle Ajasin University, Akungba-Akoko, Ondo State, Nigeria for the 2015/2016 Academic Session.
AAUA PRE-DEGREE PROGRAMMES ON OFFER
The AAUA Pre-degree programme last for one academic session. Each candidate who successfully completes the programme after adequate counseling will choose from the degree programmes listed hereunder. Placements would however depend on performance and available
spaces.
Candidates who wish to apply for AAUA 2015/2016 pre degree programme must also take the 2016 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) to be eligible for consideration for admission to the University and must obtain a minimum pass mark as may be agreed upon by the University and the JAMB.

ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS INTO ADEKUNLE AJASIN UNI PRE DEGREE PRGRAMME 2015/16
PRE-DEGREE ARTS AND PRE-DEGREE ARTS EDUCATION
A minimum of 5 Credit passes at SSCE (NECO or WAEC) obtained at not more than two sittings.These must include English Language, Yoruba, Religious Studies, History/Government.
(A Credit pass in Literature in English will be
required for English Education)
1. DEPARTMENT OF LINGUISTICS AND
LANGUAGE
The five Credit passes must include English Language and Yoruba (for B.A. Yoruba) or any language (for
B.A. Linguistics).
2. DEPARTMENT OF RELIGION AND AFRICAN CULTURE
The five Credit passes must include any of the following: CRK, IRK, Arabic, Government, Nigerian
Languages and two subjects from either Arts or Social Sciences.
3. PRE-DEGREE SCIENCE & PRE-DEGREE SCIENCE EDUCATION
A minimum of five Credit passes at SSCE (NECO or WAEC) obtained at not more than two sittings which must include English Language, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and Biology.
4. PRE-DEGREE SOCIAL SCIENCE
A minimum of five Credit passes at SSCE (NECO or WAEC) obtained at not more than two sittings. These must include Mathematics, English Language and three other Social Science subjects. Those willing to study GEOGRAPHY AND PLANNING SCIENCE must have Credit in
Geography in addition to two other subjects. Those willing to study PSYCHOLOGY must have Credit in Biology.
5. PRE-DEGREE SOCIAL SCIENCE EDUCATION
A minimum of five Credit passes at SSCE (NECO or WAEC) obtained at not more than two sittings. These must include Mathematics, English Language and three other Social Science subjects. Those willing to study GEOGRAPHY EDUCATION must have Credit in Geography in
addition to two other subjects. A pass in Mathematics is acceptable for Social Studies Education.
6. PRE-DEGREE AGRICULTURAL SCIENCE
A minimum of five Credit passes at SSCE (NECO or WAEC) obtained at not more than two sittings. These must include Mathematics, English Language, Chemistry, Biology/Agric Science and Physics.
NOTE: (a) Credit pass in Economics is required for Agricultural Economics and Agricultural Extension and Rural Development with at least a pass in Physics, (b) Credit pass in Agric Science is required for Agronomy,
Fisheries, Animal Science, Forestry and Wildlife Management with at least a pass in Biology.

How To Apply For AAUA 2015/16 Pre degree Programme

a. Payment:
Candidates are to pay the sum of Eleven Thousand Naira (N11,000.00) only (inclusive of bank commission/charges) using e-Tranzact platform at any branch of the banks listed below:
i.Skye Bank Plc.
ii. Access Bank Plc.
iii. First Bank Plc.
iv. Enterprise Bank Plc.
v. Keystone Bank.
vi. Wema Bank Plc.
vii. Zenith Bank Plc.
viii. Stanbic/ IBTC Bank
b. Complete a bank deposit teller indicating full Name and proposed Faculty of candidates
c. Candidates are to indicate as Account Number- 2015/2016 AAUA Pre-degree Application Form
d. Obtain the e-Tranzact payment receipt at the point of payment which will contain receipt No and confirmation code.

Important. Information About AAUA Pre Degree Application 2015/16

(a) Admission into 100 level from Pre-degree is not automatic.
(b) Pre-degree candidates are required to take the 2016 UTME and obtain the minimum pass mark of UTME for Universities, and as agreed upon by the University.
(c) Admission of candidates will be dependent on their Weighted Average in the two semesters, the UTME score and their ranking with respect to the cut-off marks for the chosen courses.
(d) Any candidate who did not satisfy all the above conditions and still goes on to pay school fees into the university’s Account would forfeit such fund.

Adekunle Ajasin University 2015/2016 Pre Degree Registration Procedures

(i) Candidates are requested to log on to the University website: http:eportal.aaua.edu.ng and click on 2015/2016 AAUA Pre-degree Application.
(ii) On the Pre-degree Application page, click on Application payment confirmation and supply e-Tranzact receipt and confirmation order number obtained from the bank to confirm your payment.
(iii) Once your confirmation is successful, log in with your receipt number.
(iv) Fill the Application form appropriately, submit online and immediately print-out an acknowledgement slip.
(v) Candidates are to come to the Examination Hall with the acknowledgement slip.
