UNIOSUN IJMB Programme Application 2015/2016 Is Ongoing, Apply Now




The management of Osun State University (UNIOSUN) through its Centre for Human Resource Development and Lifelong Learning (CHRDLL) in affiliation with Interim Joint Matriculation Board (IJMB), Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria invites applications from prospective and qualified candidates for admission into 2016/2017 academic session.

The Programme is designed to prepare candidates for consideration for DIRECT ENTRY ADMISSION to 200 level of regular degree programmes through the Interim Joint Matriculation Board (IJMB) Examination.
It will be another opportunity for candidates who cannot gain admission to regular degree programmes in Nigerian Universities for one reason or the other.  The following are the available Programmes for which candidates can be offered admission after passing with acceptable grades the Interim Joint Matriculation Board (IJMB) Examination:

ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS
Candidates seeking admission into Osun State University (UNIOSUN) Interim Joint Matriculations Board (IJMB) Examination must possess five (5) ordinary level credit passes in relevant subjects including English Language.
For candidates pursuing courses in Sciences, Engineering, Management and Social Sciences, credit pass in Mathematics is compulsory in addition to English Language from any of WASC, NECO, GCE or NABTEB obtained at not more than two sittings.

  Steps to To Apply


• Visit the UNIOSUN IJMB portal via http://www.uniosun.edu.ng or
http://chrdportal.uniosun.edu.ng. This will take you to the Online Application Platform.
• Ensure you read all the registration guidelines and instructions before proceeding to register.
• Payment of N10,000.00 for the UNIOSUN IJMB online application form is through the UNIOSUN Interswitch WebPAY platform.
• Complete the online application form, print and bring the printout along with photocopies of your credentials for all examinations taken, on the day of screening exercise.
Prospective candidates will apply online via www.uniosun.edu.ng and the form will be processed accordingly. Candidates will further go through a screening exercise. Successful candidates will have their names published on-line and through SMS messages.
QUALIFICATIONS FOR ADMISSION TO 200 LEVEL
For candidates to be admitted to 200 level, they must
• Possess five credits in relevant subjects at O’ Level;
• Apply through the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) by obtaining the DIRECT ENTRY FORMS from the JOINT ADMISSIONS AND MATRICULATION BOARD (JAMB)
• Pass the Interim Joint Matriculation Board (IJMB) Examination.
NOTE: The Programmes will be run at Osogbo (Main Campus), Ikire and Okuku campuses.
SCREENING EXERCISE
Screening of candidates will take place on Saturday, 7th November, 2015 at the Main campus, Osun State University, Oke Baale, Osogbo. All candidates are expected to arrive at the screening venue by 10:00 a.m.

Federal University, Dutsin-Ma invites applications From Suitable Qualified Cadidate into 2015/2016 School Preliminary Studies

The Federal University, Dutsin-Ma invites applications from suitably qualified candidates for admission into the School of General and Preliminary Studies (SOGAPS) for 2015/2016 Academic Session.

Available Programmes:
1. Preliminary Studies – 1 (PS-1): English Language, Mathematics, Chemistry, Physics and Biology.
2. Preliminary Studies – 2 (PS-2): English Language, Mathematics, Chemistry, Physics and Agricultural Science.
3. Remedial Studies – 1 (RS-1): English Language, Mathematics, Chemistry, Physics and Biology.
4. Remedial Studies – 2 (RS-2): English Language, Mathematics, Chemistry, Physics and Agricultural Science.
Qualification for the Programmes:
i. For Preliminary Studies – 1 (PS-1), a candidate should possess five (5) credits in English Language, Mathematics, Chemistry, Physics and Biology.
ii. For Preliminary Studies – 2 (PS-2), a candidate should possess five (5) credits in English Language, Mathematics, Chemistry, Physics and Agricultural Science.
iii. For Remedial Studies – 1 (RS-1) & 2 (RS-2), a candidate should possess at least three (3) credits in any of the six subjects; English Language, Mathematics, Chemistry, Physics, Biology and Agricultural Science.

Application Procedures

1) Visit our application portal at http://portal.fudutsinma.edu.ng/sgps/ locate and click Start Application at the bottom left corner of the page to start your application.
2) Fill and submit the “Application Form”.
3) A “Payment Transaction Slip” is generated for you. On it, you will find your unique Transaction ID for making payments, as well as your Application Form Number.
4) Print a copy of your Payment Transaction Slip, and proceed to pay a non-refundable fee of N5,300 (Five thousand, three hundred naira only, bank charges inclusive) N5,000.00 (Five thousand naira) for the Application form and N300.00 (Three hundred Naira) for bank charges using any of the payment options listed below.
Note that: You will be required to present your Transaction ID at the bank if you choose to pay cash. You will be charged an additional N100 (One Hundred Naira) if you choose to pay using the ATM option.
5) Return to the Portal (http://portal.fudutsinma.edu.ng/sgps/) after payment, enter your Application Form Number and email address to continue your application.
6) Complete and submit the full application form with accurate data.
Payment Options: There are three Payment options available for applicants to make payment.
(A) For Cash Payments: Visit any branch of Zenith Bank Plc, United Bank for Africa, Guarantee Trust Bank, First Bank of Nigeria.
Note that you will be required to present a printout of your Transaction ID slip in the bank. After Payment has been received from you, a Payment Slip will be issued to you from the bank.
(B) For ATM Visit any ATM machine with your ATM card and do the following: Select Quickteller from the ATM menu. Select pay bills. Fill in the Transaction ID generated from the our portal when you are requested to enter the Customer ID. Fill in 65101 when you are requested to enter the Payment Code.
Enter your GSM Number and complete the transaction. Then return to the portal to login and print out your payment slip
(C) For Web Visit the Quickteller website to complete your transaction.visit www.quickteller.com/fudmapay
insert your transaction ID. insert your email and mobile number and click “continue”. follow the instructions on the screen to complete your payment.
Submission of Form:

i) Submitted applications will only be processed and validated after payment has been confirmed. Applicants are advised to ensure the following:
ii) Use the correct “Transaction ID” found on your Payment Transaction Slip.
iii) Regularly check our website: http://www.fudutsinma.edu.ng for up-to-date information regarding their application and admission status.
iv) Candidate must ensure to select the correct subject combination for their desired programme of study.
v) Candidate is advised to print out a copy of his/her Application Form for record keeping.
Applicants should Note: Bank draft and Cash payment will not be accepted. Applicants are required to have a valid functional email address before starting their application. It must be unique and may NOT be shared with any other applicant. Candidates with Awaiting Results are also eligible to apply.

WHAT IS MIT-AFRICA EMPOWERING THE TEACHER?

Empowering the Teachers enables outstanding young Nigerian faculty in Science and Engineering to collaborate with faculty at the Massachusetts Institutes of Technology (MIT) in developing new curriculum and teaching methods.
The program is offered by the MIT International Science and Technology Initiatives (MISTI) together with its corporate partner Total. The director of the program is Professor Akintunde Ibitayo Akinwande, Professor of Electrical Engineering and Computer at MIT. The program hopes to expand to countries in east Africa in the near future.

2015 FUTO Centre for Entrepreneurial Studies Application Form Is Currently On Sale

Federal University Of Technology Management hereby invite applications from suitably qualified candidates for admission into the following programmes at the University’s Centre for Entrepreneurial Studies (CES).

A. POST GRADUATE DIPLOMA PROGRAMME (PGD) ENTREPRENEURSHIP
1. Post Graduate Diploma (PGD) Entrepreneurship Development and Innovation
2. Post Graduate Diploma (PGD) in Business management & Entrepreneurship
The PGD Entrepreneurship is designed to provide bridging / remedial training and retraining in Entrepreneurship education to prepare graduates of universities or equivalent qualifications of those who may not have first degrees in Entrepreneurship discipline to either pursue post graduate degree programmes in the fields of entrepreneurship or prepare them for life as successful entrepreneurs and intrapreneurs in our technology driven economic environment. Programme to assist candidates who desire to build a career in Entrepreneurship education but do not have a good foundation in Entrepreneurship Education. On graduation holders of the diploma will be eligible to be admitted into the masters’ programme in entrepreneurship.
DURATION: The duration for all PGD entrepreneurship programme is twelve (12) calendar months

- First Degree Certificate obtained from the Federal University of Technology Owerri or any other recognised university.
- HND or equivalent certificate obtained from a recognised institution acceptable to the Federal University of Technology.

ertificate courses are designed for self improvement in entrepreneurship education, Growing Enterprise Leaders and Performance Enhancement in Corporate Governance and Entrepreneurship.
Generally Our Certificate programmes are carefully configured for Value Reorientations, Self Dependence, Wealth Creation and Employment Generation.
ADMISSIONS REQUIREMENT
*WASCE / GCE/ SSCE with five credits Obtained at not more than two sittings. OND or its equivalent
*Any other qualifications recognised by the Federal University of Technology Owerri.
PROGRAMME DURATION
1. Full time Postgraduate Diploma (PGD) programme will last for a minimum of 2 semesters (1 year) and a maximum of 4 semesters (2 years)
2.Part time Post graduate Diploma (PGD) programmes will last for a minimum of 4 semester (2 Years) and a maximum of six semesters (3 Years)
3. All Certificate courses will last for six months.
ENTREPRENEURSHIP SKILL ACQUISITION LABORATORIES
ALL POST GRADUATE Diploma and Certificate students will undergo practical sessions on skill acquisition and empowerment at the Centre for Entrepreneurial Studies (CES). Workshop / Laboratories.

Requirements

  • WASSCE/SSSCE Holders who have credits (A1-C6/ A-D Respectively) in the following Three (3) Core Subjects: English Language, Mathematics and Integrated Science plus credits (A1-C6) in Three Elective Subjects with an Aggregate Score of 24 or better in the relevant Area of Study.
OR
GENERAL BUSINESS CERTIFICATE (GBCE) Holders who possess passes in Three compulsory Subjects including English Language and passes in any Three Elective Subjects including Business Mathematics.
  • ADVANCED LEVEL Holders with credits in at least Five (5) subjects at the GCE ‘O’ Level (or its equivalent) including English  Language and Mathematics, plus at least two passes in the relevant subjects at the Advanced Level obtained not more than Three (3) years ago
OR
ADVANCED BUSINESS CERTIFICATE EXAMINATION (ABCE) Holders with passes in Three compulsory Subjects plus Three optional subjects relevant to the programme of study, OR Applicants with Stage I of ACCA, ICA, Associate of Chartered Institute of Bankers (ACIB), Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM) with credits at WASSCE/SSSCE in Three (3) Core Subjects and Three (3) Elective Subjects or credits at GBCE or ABCE or GCE O’ Level including English Language and Mathematics.  
  • MATURE STUDENTS who have attained the age of 25 years or above at the time of application and have credits in Five (5) GCE ‘O Level subjects including English Language and Mathematics, in addition to passing an Entrance Examination and /or Interview.
OR
WASSCE/SSSCE Holders who have credits (A1-C6/ A-D Respectively) in the following Three (3) Core Subjects: English Language, Mathematics and Integrated Science plus credits (A1-C6/A-D) in Three Elective Subjects with an aggregate score of 24 or better in the relevant area of study.

HND Holders with Three (3) years relevant working experience in addition to the Minimum Entry Requirement at WASSCE/SSSCE or Five (5) GCE O’ Level credits including English Language and Mathematics.

A Fee-Paying Facility is available to Applicants who do not meet the Competitive Departmental/Faculty Requirements and Cut-Off Points but satisfy the Minimum Entry Requirements of Aggregate 24 or better. Applicants who wish to take advantage of this facility should indicate this when filling online Application forms.

Notes:

  1. Only documents provided by applicants at the time of submission of applications shall be considered.
  2. Applicants (excluding awaiting results candidates) shall include in their application forms photocopies of their results slips and/or certificates as well as certified true copy of birth certificate.
  3. An applicant’s failure to input grades and/ or other relevant information properly on the forms/online shall deny the applicant admission to a programme of study at the university.
  4.  Admissions to all programmes of study at the university are transparently administered by the central undergraduate admissions board without any other considerations and/ or solicitations. any applicant who makes any form of solicitation to any person or group of persons for the purpose of influencing and/or gaining admission into the university does so at his/her own risk.
  5. Mandatory requirement: all applicants are required to visit the university’s admissions website (http://admissions.knust.edu.gh) to complete their application process online. Candidates are to use the card number and pin on the e-voucher provided at the time of purchase of the forms for this purpose. Failure to do so renders the application invalid.

Federal Polytechnic, Bauchi Post-Utme screening admission form 2014/2015 is out.

Entry Requirements: Candidates must possess at least four (4) Passes at SSCE/NECO level, or equivalent qualification obtained at one or two sittings which MUST include English Language and Mathematics in addition to any other two passes relevant to the area of interest.

  3. Communication of Admission Decision to Applicant
    The Admission Office notifies the student in writing of the application’s acceptance or non-acceptance. If the application is successful, the acceptance letter provides a list of things that the student needs to do in order to secure a space at the University. In the event that the application is rejected, the rejection letter explains the reasons for the rejection.
  4. Confirmation of Acceptance by Student
    The successful admission candidate makes a refundable housing deposit of N30,000 by the stipulated date to reserve a Residence Hall space. A successful candidate must undergo a medical test by completing the medical form in an accredited hospital.

University Of Jos (UNIJOs) 2014/2015 direct entry screening Details released

The information reeaching us indicates that the University of Jos Direct Entry Screening Exercise for the 2014/2015 Academic Session admission shall take place from Monday 11th August to Saturday 16th August, 2014 commencing at 9:00 a.m. each day. The screening exercise shall take place at the Bauchi Road Campus of the University at the Board Rooms of the respective Faculties.

However, candidates for the Faculty of Education shall be screened at the University Auditorium in the Faculty of Law, while candidates for admission into the Faculties of Arts, Environmental Sciences, Social Sciences and Management Sciences shall be screened at the new Faculty of Engineering building.

NOTE: Only candidates who applied through JAMB for Direct Entry admission and chose University of Jos as their first choice are eligible for the screening exercise.

UMYU Post Utme 2014 – Exam Date, Cut off Mark, Registration Details

Scholars NG wishes to notify the intire public esspecially all UMYU aspirant that Umaru Musa Yar'adua University UMYU Post Utme 2014 form is out. Interested candidates who scored a minimum of 180 marks in the 2014 UTME are invited by the Umaru Musa Yar’adua University to apply for the screening exercise. METHOD OF APPLICATION

Applications for admission will be done fully online. To make online payment, follow the link on the school website: http://payment.federalpolyede.edu.ng/  and adhere strictly to the instructions provided. All applications attract a charge of Two Thousand Naira (N2,000.00) only exclusive of other charges.
All payments for application should be made through Interswitch/Quickteller website using your Debit Card, Master Card, or Prepaid Card.

Regardless of the preferred payment channel used to complete your payment, the Polytechnic portal is automatically updated with your payment after completion and you will be able to complete the online admission form. After successful payment, you should receive an email with the link to register online.

Applicants are required to:
1. Use exactly the same names (and in the order as used) on the JAMB/UTME form.
2. Submit two(2) valid e-mail addresses as they will be contacted via e-mail and SMS with information on their application and the post UTME results.
3. Use clear passport size photograph when filling the online application.

Once you have succeeded in filling the form, print out a copy of the PDF document displayed. Note that a copy of this form will be required at the screening centre on the examination day.

If peradventure you were unable to receive your registration details by email, kindly visit  http:// payment.federalpolyede.edu.ng/port.php to retrieve your PIN. This link works only for applicants who have successfully completed their payments but were unable to get the PIN and Form number due to one reason or the other.

SCREENING EXAM DATE AND DETAILS

Fed Poly Ede post utme 2014 screening exercise will hold from Tuesday 12th to Saturday 16th, August 2014. Information about venue, date and time will be as indicated in the acknowledgement form printable from the school website after the candidate has duly completed the online registration details.

DISQUALIFICATION
CANDIDATES WHO MAKE FALSE DECLARATION OF UTME SCORES AND ORDINARY LEVEL GRADES (SSCE, GCE,NECO AND THEIR EQUIVALENTS) AS WELL AS STATE OF ORIGIN SHALL NOT BE CONSIDERED FOR ADMISSION.

University of Lagos DLI Admission Interactive Session Holds July 31

The University of Lagos (UNILAG) Distance Learning Institute (DLI) will hold an interactive session for all applicants seeking admission into the Institute’s programmes for the 2013/14 academic session on Thursday, July 31, 2014 at 8.00 a.m.

in the following venues: DLI Hall, UNILAG Staff School Hall, and Faculties of Business Administration, Environmental Sciences, Law, Science and Social Sciences.


Please Note: Details of allocation of candidates into venues will be available on DLI Website: www.dli.unilag.edu.ng from Monday, July 28, 2014.

Applicants are requested to bring along two recent passport photographs (same as the one used in the application form submitted online); writing materials, HB pencils, erasers and non-scientific calculators to the venue.

Applicants should not come to the venue with their GSM handsets or any other communication/electronic device. Such devices would be sized and forfeited.

Any applicant who fails to attend the interactive session will not be considered for admission into the Distance Learning Institute for the 2013/2014 session.
