PROGRAM APPLICATION 2016
WHAT IS MIT-AFRICA EMPOWERING THE TEACHER?
Empowering the Teachers enables outstanding young Nigerian faculty in Science and Engineering to collaborate with faculty at the Massachusetts Institutes of Technology (MIT) in developing new curriculum and teaching methods.
The program is offered by the MIT International Science and Technology Initiatives (MISTI) together with its corporate partner Total. The director of the program is Professor Akintunde Ibitayo Akinwande, Professor of Electrical Engineering and Computer at MIT. The program hopes to expand to countries in east Africa in the near future.
HOW CAN IS APPLY FOR MIT-AFRICA EMPOWERING TEACHERS PROGRAMME
To apply, you are required to carefully completed the following program application; then send a) this completed application form and b) a copy of your current curriculum vitae (please include which coding languages you know how to use) c) a copy of 1 research paper and 1 conference paper that best represents your work/your areas of interest, as attachments in ONE email to: misti-africa@mit.edu
Incomplete applications will *not* be considered.
