This move approved by the Yobe state governor, Alhaji Ibrahim Gaidam is part of ongoing efforts in the state to re-position the healthcare sector and improve service delivery.
A statement from the Yobe state governor’s office said that the salary commensurate with the grade level will be paid to the students on a monthly basis until they graduate as doctors.
The governor said that his administration would continue to take proactive steps to improve the welfare of the people of the state.
