Then accused was caught after he lured the girl into the school’s toilet and ordered her to remove her underwear. He proceeded to insert his finger into her vagina, bruising her in the process.
The case was reported to the school authorities and the rapist was promptly arrested by the Police who charged his to an FCT Chief Magistrates’ Court.
The offence contravened Section 285 of the Penal Code but the accused was granted bail by the Chief Magistrate, Hadiza Shagari, at the sum of N100,000 and two sureties in like sum.
The case was adjourned till August 20th for continuation of hearing.
