NECO Postpones Common Entrance Second Test, Announces New Date

The National Examinations Council (NECO) has postponed the second selection test for candidates seeking admission into unity schools to give students that qualified for the second test more time to register.

The officer in charge of NECO, FCT, Mr Mustapha Abdul announced that the examination will now hold on Saturday, 12th July, 2014.

The supervising minister of education, Chief Nyesom Wike, had during the conduct of the Common Entrance Examination (NCEE) for unity schools on April 26, disclosed that NECO would conduct another test for candidates who passed the examination to select the best for admission into Federal Government Colleges based on merit.

Over 40,000 candidates has been shortlisted to take part in the second selection test whose registration is still on-going.
