Beneficiaries of the University of Ilorin I-Pad Initiative have expressed joy and gratitude to the Vice-Chancellor of the institution, Prof. AbdulGaniyu Ambali, for fulfilling his promise with last Thursday’s distribution of PC tablets, otherwise known as I-Pad, to them.
Some of the new students, who lauded the University administration on the I-Pad initiative, while speaking with Unilorin Bulletin, affirmed that the initiative would enhance their educational pursuit and boost the ICT drive of the University.
Ogungbile Phebean, 100 Level Performing Arts, said, “I feel happy because they promised us and they fulfilled it; generally, I will use it for educational purposes as well as for social purposes. I appreciate the management of the University of Ilorin, especially the Vice-Chancellor for making us the first set of students in a Federal University to receive this gesture. In fact, I am so happy. Please, Mr. Vice-Chancellor, continue the good work you have started.”
On her part, Sekinat Abubakre, 100 Level Religions, said, “I must confess that I am delighted about the PC tablet as well as the starter pack but most importantly, I am happy and grateful to the University of Ilorin. The University has lived up to our motto: “Better by Far”. The Vice-Chancellor, Prof. AbdulGaniyu Ambali, is really a man of his words as well as a man of virtue because he succeeded in pleasantly surprising us.
