UNIZIK 2013/2014 2nd Semester Examinations Postponed

The information reaching our desk indicates that the management of Nnamdi Azikiwe University (UNIZIK), Awka have postponed the second semester examinations for 2013/2014 academic session earlier scheduled to commence on Monday 11th August, 2014.

The examinations will now commence on Monday 18th August, 2014.

This is to enable the university to conduct a hitch free Post-UTME screening exercise which shall take place from Tuesday 12th August to Saturday 16th August 2014.

All students are therefore advised to watch out for an updated examination time table at all noticeboards of the university.

UNIJOS Reschedules Exam Date

Scholars NG hereby informs all prospective students of UNIJOS that the management of University of Jos (UNIJOS) have re- scheduled the dates of some examination because of the monthly sanitation exercise usually observed in Plateau State during the last Saturday of every month which held last Saturday, July 26th 2014.

In view of the above development, students are hereby notified that all examinations scheduled for the morning hours from 8.00 am to 11.00 am that day be shifted to Monday, 11th August, 2014 from 8.00 am to 11.00 am. Similarly, in the event of the Sallah public holidays, all examinations scheduled on the two days has now been shifted to Tuesday, 12th August and Wednesday 13th August 2014 respectively.

By this arrangement, GST CBT examinations earlier scheduled from Monday 11th August will now take place from Wednesday, 13th August and all other CBT examinations will follow in that order.

3.0 ELIGIBILITY
Candidates who obtained the UTME cut-off mark of 180 and above in the Humanities, Management Social Sciences (in relevant subjects) who chose Federal University Wukari as their first choice.

Candidates who obtained the UTME cut-off mark of 180 and above in the Agriculture and Sciences (in relevant subjects) who chose Federal University Wukari as their first choice.
For Direct Entry Candidates who choose Federal University Wukari as their first choice

Please note that all Candidates are expected to possess five (5) credits at SSCE (or equivalent) in relevant subjects at not more than two sittings including credit passes in English and Mathematics, this also applies to Direct Entry Candidates;
Candidates are also requested to kindly note that credit passes in English Language and Mathematics shall be compulsory for admission into all programmes (this also applies to Direct entry candidates) EXCEPT EnglishLiterary Studies and History Diplomatic Studies where credit pass in Mathematics is not required;

Please note that only Candidates who meet Departmental and Faculty requirements for their proposed programmes of study are eligible to apply for the 2014/2015 Post-UTME Screening Exercise of the Federal University Wukari.

Candidates should kindly go online and log onto www.fuwukari.edu.ng , the official website of the Federal University Wukari for more information on Departmental and Faculty subject combination requirements for admission to the University.

Kindly also note that unqualified Candidates who show up at the venue(s) of the Post-UTME Screening Exercise will not be screened.

4.0 REGISTRATION PROCEDURE
i. Ensure that you are fully qualify to apply for the POST-UTME Aptitude test for the Federal University Wukari by going online and logging onto www.fuwukari.edu.ng website. Click on “Faculty and Departmental Subject Combination Requirements for Admission into the 2014/15 academic session of the Federal University Wukari “.

ii. If you meet Departmental and Faculty requirements for your proposed programme of study and stipulated UTME cut off mark, go to any branch of Keystone Bank and pay the screening fee of N2,500.00 in favour of Federal University Wukari excluding bank charges; or candidates can pay online via www.fuwukari.edu.ng portal.

iii. With the payment, a pin will be generated that will enable the candidate to register for the P-UTME and check results
iv Go online and log onto www.fuwukari.edu.ng website and click on “Apply for 2014/15 POST-UTME Aptitude Test”.
Download the Post-UTME Application Form ( both for UTME and Direct Entry candidates) complete in duplicate and affix your passport photographs;

Candidates are expected to bring two copies of completed application form and their bank teller to the venue of the Post-UTME exercise;

APPLICATION DEADLINE
Website closes by midnight on 7th August, 2014.
PLEASE NOTE THE FOLLOWING: Your Application will not be successful if:

Your UTME score is less than the prescribed cut-off for Sciences and Humanities, Social and Management Sciences;
You do not possess 5 WAEC, NECO or NABTEB O’ Level credit passes in relevant subjects for your proposed programme of study;

You do not meet Departmental/Faculty requirements for your proposed programme of study;

If any information entered on your application form differs from what was indicated on your JAMB Registration Form.
For Direct Entry Candidates, if you obtain your diploma from a University

Important Instructions
Please use exactly the same names (and in the same order) as on your JAMB Registration Form);
Kindly fill current and valid e-mail addresses and cell phone numbers on your Application Form for ease of contact.
5.0 Items to be brought to the Venue of the POST-UTME Screening Exercise

UTME Result Slip(If you don’t have the one that bears your photograph,click here to get yours);
Photocopies of SSCE, GCE , NECO or NABTEB results;
Two Copies of Completed Application Forms with Passport Photographs affixed;
Keystone Bank deposit teller or receipt of N2,500.00 in favour of Federal University Wukari excluding the bank charges
The following writing materials:
a. HB pencil;
b. Eraser

6.0 CAUTION
The following items are not allowed in the Screening Halls
Mathematical tables and Calculators;
Biros and Pens;

GSM phones (those brought into the halls will be confiscated).
Candidates are advised to read the preceding instructions carefully and comply.

Gombe State University Gomsu Post Utme 2014 – Exam Date, Cut off Mark, Application Form

The information reaching our desk indicates that the Gombe State University Gomsu Post Utme 2014 screening form is out. The Post-UME Screening Exercise for candidates who applied to GSU Gombe as First choice and scored 180/or above in the relevant subjects in the 2014 UTME has been scheduled.

Those who applied through Direct Entry First Choice are eligible for the screening exercise and aptitude test too.

SCREENING EXERCISE: Screening exercise will be conducted from Wednesday 30th July to Friday 1st August, 2014 by 8:00 am at the Convocation Square. Candidate should bring along the following for the screening exercise:

1. JAMB Result Slip for the 2014 UTME or online Registration slip for Direct Entry.

2. Originals and Photocopies of their Credentials.

3. Two Coloured passport size photographs.

4. Two thousand, Two Hundred Naira Only (N2,200.00) non-refundable Pre-Registration processing charges.

APTITUDE TEST: The aptitude test will be conducted on Saturday 2nd August, 2014 by 7:00 am. Candidates should bring along the following;

a) Duly filled and signed Screening Slip.

b) Writing materials.

IBBU Lapai Post Utme 2014 – Result Verification & Screening Exercise

Ibrahim Badamasi Babangida University, IBBU Lapai Post Utme 2014 screening details is out. This is to invite all candidates who chose IBB University, Lapai, as their Most Preferred Institution (First Choice) in the 2014 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) to the admission screening exercise.

The University does not intend to conduct Post UTME Examination. The policy is rather to confirm and authenticate the credentials of candidates before admission. Arrangements have been concluded with all Examination Bodies to verify all candidates’ results.

ELIGIBILITY: The following qualified candidates are to log-on to the admission portal www.ibbu.edu.ng for verification of their UTME or NCE/Diploma/IJMB and O’Level Results (i.e. WAEC, NECO, NABTEB and Teacher Grade Two) online;

(i) 180 & above for Sciences, Agriculture, Languages, Education & Arts.

(ii) 190 & above for Management and Social Science Courses.

(iii) Direct Entry Candidates who have Upper Credit or its equivalent.

SCREENING EXERCISE: The online screening exercise is in three stages as indicated below:

First Stage: Candidates are required to do the following on the Post UTME Portal: Enter their JAMB Registration Number to confirm if they are eligible. If eligible; they are to choose a menu from a drop down list and enter the number of results they wish to submit for verification (maximum of 2 sittings).

An acknowledgement/confirmation slip will be generated with the following information on it:

i. Candidate JAMB number and Name.

ii. Bank , Account Name and Account Number.

iii. Number of Results and Amount due for payment.

Second Stage: Candidates are to proceed to make payment using the information contained in the acknowledgement slip above.

Third Stage: Candidates who have completed the second stage of the screening should proceed to the third stage after 48 hours of making the stipulated payment by logging in their JAMB Registration Number, teller number and O’/A’ Level results. Candidates are advised to correctly input their results.

NOTE: Candidates results will be screened for eligibility of admission based on the following:

The University has an NUC approved carrying capacity of only 1,700. Therefore, relative merit will be strictly applied in the context of the quality of O’/A’Level Results and UTME Score. Authentication of their O’/A’Level results by the University.

Candidates must have the appropriate credits in subject combination of the Course applied for including English and Mathematics.

All interested candidates must have applied to IBB University, Lapai as Most Preferred (First Choice). Therefore, those who made IBB University second choice need not to register for the screening exercise.

CLOSING DATE: All eligible candidates are required to visit www.ibbu.edu.ng for the Registration from 25rd July to 4th August, 2014.

UMYU Post Utme 2014 – Exam Date, Cut off Mark, Registration Details

Scholars NG wishes to notify the intire public esspecially all UMYU aspirant that Umaru Musa Yar'adua University UMYU Post Utme 2014 form is out. Interested candidates who scored a minimum of 180 marks in the 2014 UTME are invited by the Umaru Musa Yar’adua University to apply for the screening exercise. All applicants must have obtained Five (5) Credits in relevant ‘O ’ Level subjects, at not more than two sittings.

APPLICATION PROCEEDURE: The University charges N1,000.00 (One thousand Naira) only for the CBT exercise and N2,000.00 (Two thousand Naira) only for the University processing fee.

Eligible Candidates should visit any commercial Bank nationwide to make payment for the purchase of a post-UTME pin-Code on eTranzact Platform and obtain the eTranzact payment Receipt.

Candidates are to access the online registration portal via https://www.umyu.edu.ng – then click on the “Post-UTME Application” under Main Menu to get to the payment confirmation login page. Click on the “Confirm Application Fee” and supply the Confirmation Order Number and UTME Registration Number on your eTranzact payment Receipt, and click on the confirm button beneath the Login box.

After successful login, Candidates are requested to fill in the Online Form accordingly, upload most recent passport photograph and click on the submit button.

On successful submission, candidates shall be prompted with the Print the acknowledgment/ Screening Schedule Page where a hard-copy output shall be produced, which will contain the summary of the filled Bio-data, exams date, time schedules, batch number and a Photo- passport of the candidate.

SCREENING DATE & DETAILS: The UMYU Post UTME 2014 Screening Exercise is scheduled to take place from Monday 11th to Saturday 16th August, 2014 using Computer Based Test (CBT) platform at Umaru Musa Yar’adua University, Katsina.

Candidates for the Post UTME screening exercise are advised to be decently dressed. Candidates with indecent dressing will not be allowed into the screening premises.

Phones and all other forms of mobile communication, electronic devices, bags and luggage are not allowed within the screening premises.

Only registered candidates for the screening exercise will be allowed into the screening premises.

CLOSING DATE: The on-line Registration for the Post UTME screening will end on Sunday 10th August, 2014.
