This is to inform the general public that DSP, Ozoro admission list 2015/2016 has been released. Candidates that applied for admission into the university are hereby informed to check for their names on the just released admission list.


The management of the Delta State Polytechnic, Ozoro has released the list of candidates that have been offered provisional admission into the various academic programmes available at the university for the  


2015/2016 academic session. The list contains names of those candidates that wrote the post UME examination held on 25th and 26th of September and were successful.

Candidates are hereby implored to check their names.

Interested candidates are to pay in the sum of #10,000 (bank charges #500) in favour of the Delta State Polytechnic Ozoro, candidates are expected to pay into any of the underlisted banks:

Result Verification Fees is paid once per course for new students. A student continuing from a course into a higher one from within the institution does not have to pay this fees.

Medical Test is for only NEW STUDENTS. It is charged only ONCE in the student's entire duration at the institution and at the beginning of his / her first programme.

All departments except Accountancy & Bus. Studies would pay the SIWES LOGBOOK / IT supervision fees; i.e. N 1, 000.00 less.

All NDI and NDII accounting students are expected to pay ICAN Accreditation levy of N3,000 each.

Note: Both new and returning students are expected to pay for service charge/processing fee of N1,500 for the web portal usage to enhanced quick service delivery.

Delta State Poly Ogwashi-Uku Post Utme Form 2014

Delta State Polytechnic, Ogwashi-Uku Post-Utme Screening details has been announced. Applications are invited from qualified candidates for admission into Delta State Polytechnic, Ogwashi-Uku for the 2014/2015 Academic session into the following full-time ND programmes;

School of Business Studies:Accountancy, Business Administration, Office Technology and Management, Mass Communication.

School of Engineering: Mechanical Engineering, Welding and Fabrication, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Foundry Engineering, Computer Engineering, Metallurgical Engineering.

School of Applied Science:Hospitality,Computer Science, Mathematics and Statistics.

School of Art & Design:Fashion Design and Clothing Technology, Fine and Applied Art.

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

NATIONAL DIPLOMA

GCE ‘O’ Level, SSCE (WAEC NECO), NABTEB or its equivalent with at least five (5) credit passes in relevant subjects in not more than two (2) sittings. A minimum score of 150 at the 2014 UTME.

HIGHER NATIONAL DIPLOMA

Candidates for any of the Higher National Diploma (HND) courses must possess the National Diploma (ND) of the Polytechnic with a minimum of Lower Credit or an equivalent qualification from other similar institutions whose course have earned NBTE accreditation. In addition, candidates must have satisfied the Delta State Polytechnic Matriculation requirements for the National Diploma Programme and must have at least one year Post National Diploma (ND) Industrial Experience. Evidence of relevant one year Post-ND Industrial Experience and academic transcripts from the candidate’s Institution must be submitted along with the allocation for Higher National Diploma admission. Where the applicant’s qualification falls short of Lower Credit, he/she should have at least (2) years Industrial Experience. In Office Technology and Management Department, preference will be given to candidates with good grades in skill subjects of Shorthand, Typewriting and Computer Science Technology.

APPLICATION FEE

(i) The Application Fee for all ND candidates is N3,500 (Three thousand five hundred naira) only and N1,000 for Processing Charge.

(ii) The Application Fee for all HND candidates is N8,000 (Eight thousand naira) only and N1,000 for Processing Charge.

(iii) Nonrefundable policy is applicable.

METHOD OF APPLICATION

SCREENING DATE

Delta Poly Otefe-Oghara HND Admission Form 2014

Delta Poly Otefe Oghara admission application form into HND is out. Applications are invited for admission into Higher National Diploma (HND) programmes at the Delta State Polytechnic, Otefe Oghara. Entry Requirements:

a) National Diploma (ND) in a relevant course of course of study from NBTE accredited Polytechnic.

b) 5 O’level Credits including Mathematics and English Language in subjects relevant to the candidate’s course of study.

c) At least one year Post ND working experience in the area of specialization.

d) At least two years Post ND cognate working experience for candidates with Pass in their areas of specialization.

Method of Application: Interested Candidates are to pay Six thousand naira (N6,000.00) for the application forms and Two thousand naira (2,000.00) for the screening forms at any branch of the following banks nationwide;

ii) Bursary receipt for the purchase of the forms.

iii) Certificate/Statement of Result.
